Hi, I have a 325i E36 1992 European version. A couple of months ago it started to develop a rare stalling situation where the car on rapidly release of the accelerator or hard braking could shut down if you didn't pump the pedal and try to recover it this happened occasionally. Usually when the engine is warm and the car is parked with the A/C off, it idles rough. I've already changed spark plugs and cleaned the injectors.
Recently, the car alternator started to fail radio turned off and dashboard lights started to turn on and off specially ABS and battery light came on. The car shut down while I was on traffic but I was able to start it again. The next morning it wouldn't start. I wanted to know if the previous stalling situation could have been produced by a poor alternator that was starting to fail, or should I be looking for something else. Also, the computer showed that two of the ignition coils failed, but on a manual test there was no sign of a failing coil and after resetting the computer, the codes didn't come up again.
Thanks in advance!

Sure, if voltage drops, lets say along with RPM, the engine will stall.
