Valve lifter issues.

Hi, I have just had my cylinder head returned to me after being skimmed and pressure tested. However the engineers have taken out the valve lifters and i'm not sure which ones go where?

4 of the lifters are hydraulic and push in whereas the other four are solid and fixed. I'm guessing they're different for which are exhaust and inlet side?

Do you know which is which?

The car is a 2001 bmw 318 e46 4cyl 8 valve.
