Requesting some vanos data.....

... to pinpoint my problem. Vanos doesn't appear to advance the cam. I get the Late/Early indications while watching the live data but the cam doesn't advance. What I would like to have is the resistance of a working vanos solenoid across both terminals and if anyone feels adventurous I would also like the voltages at the connector on the wiring harness side. One terminal should be battery voltage (Red/White wire) and the other is the terminal I'm not sure about. The second terminal (Green/Blue or Green/Purple) should be 0.0v but may be a reference voltage of about 5 volts. Use a Fluke DMM or a good meter you know to be high impedence. I think my problem is a shorted solenoid but all of these measurements would confirm the problem.

thanks.
tony
