OBD II e36 m3s have 4 sensors, right?
You recommend doing all at the same time?
From seeing one of the sensors next to the coolant drain on the engine block I can't imagine getting a torque wrench in there...

When possible, replace them in sets. However, due to cost, most folks replace only what is broken.
