Hello Nick thanks for your response. i did a compression test they are as follows
#1-170 #2-165 #3-175 #4-170 #5-160 #6-165 I then swap coils to determine whether the coils were the problem, # 4 still continued to misfire. I took the coil grounded an additional spark plug and cranked there was fire ,,, So I assumed the problem was fuel, when I removed the fuel rail # 4 was noticeably dry. with no scent of fuel on the spark plug either..I replaced the injector. The problem persist. Compression sounds OK.
I would confirm #4 has spark, the coil should be able to produce 20Kv. Once you confirm that. Check if the injector has power, then is being triggered by the DME> If it is not being triggered, be sure the wiring to the DME is OK. If it is, the DME may be at fault.
