Hello Nick thanks for your response. i did a compression test they are as follows
#1-170
#2-165
#3-175
#4-170
#5-160
#6-165
I then swap coils to determine whether the coils were the problem, # 4 still continued to misfire. I took the coil grounded an additional spark plug and cranked there was fire ,,, So I assumed the problem was fuel, when I removed the fuel rail # 4 was noticeably dry. with no scent of fuel on the spark plug either..I replaced the injector. The problem persist. The CEL comes on after running for a while, however the P1250 has not returned. what is your opinion?

Compression sounds OK.

I would confirm #4 has spark, the coil should be able to produce 20Kv. Once you confirm that. Check if the injector has power, then is being triggered by the DME> If it is not being triggered, be sure the wiring to the DME is OK. If it is, the DME may be at fault.

Let me know what you find.

- Nick
