Broken plastic/nylon fasteners - where can I obtain replacements

Hi, I'm new to this place, I'm from the UK and I have a 1999 323i Convertible (British) with electric roof. Not sure if you have exactly the same specs in the US.

The roof fabric is to be replaced next Monday - rear window is cracked( x3), stitching worn badly, the thin waterproof membrane is shredded and sheds pieces every now and then, and the headliner has become loose and with mould patches above the rear seat.

The 2 motors were replaced a couple of years ago, but since then the roof has never seated in the storage compartment on its own without the headliner (+/- a fold of the canvas) snagging over the front lip of the storage compartment, behind the rear head-rests.

Before the motors were replaced, I used to have to help the compartment lid to start opening, by manual upward easing of the rear-most frame crossbar, presumably because the tensioners etc needed adjustment.

The outcome of all this, is that there are 2 broken rectangular white nylon/plastic fasteners, under the front corners of the hood, set back about 7 inches, which secure the frame to the plastic fasciae that are continuous with the fascia covering the leading edge. The fasteners appear to be 2 parts, heat-welded together. The fasciae appear to function as a means of ensuring that the headliner/hood material clears the edge of the storage compartment without snagging, but with broken fasteners, there is a hazard getting in and out of the vehicle

I've looked everywhere (other than BMW directly) for replacements but haven't seen these fasteners mentioned or illustrated anywhere.

I would like to obtain these before I have the canvas replaced. Maybe they come attached to the fasciae?

Can anyone please advise re obtaining these fasteners, and also whether it's easy to remove the headliner to wash and treat the damp/mould stains? (or preferable to replace the headliner).

Thanks

I suspect this image will be on its side - up the right way my end! Sorry.
