Hello everybody
I have a BMW E36 With M42 engine and I have 2 code 1222 and 1268 which mean lambda control 1 and knock control test pulse.I have the check engine illuminated, and the light turn off only when I disconnect the battery cables then reconnecting it. all the time when this light is on,the car acceleration is very poor and the engine is very weak, when I drive it for 5 minutes the light turn on again and need to disconnect the cables again to get the power back,I have changed the knock sensors, airmass flow, fuel pump, and now Iam going to change the o2 sensor any1 can help me and tell me what is the issue?and if I can know the number of the compatible o2 sensor for my car again it's bmw e36 318i M42 engine 1995 convertible.
appreciate your quick support

Sounds like a fuel control issue. I would check the engine for vacuum leaks. Check when the fuel trim is skewed, using a BMW scan tool.
