engine stalls/hesitates under load close to operating temperature
 

I have a 1986 325e. The problem is intermittent with the engine hesitating and sometimes stalling when accelerating from from idle but always happens at about reaching operating temperature. Once operating temperature has been reached there is no issue. only happens on first start of the day. Any ideas??

No, Check engine light not on, no stored codes. i have just replaced the coolant temp sensor as it appears to be temperature related. hard to tell if this has worked yet as the issue is intermittent - only happens 2 or 3 times every 2 weeks - always on first run of the day.
