I am wondering what hubs and what years will fit on my 1990 bmw 325i to convert it to a five lug bolt pattern.

Trailblazer, My understanding is that all e30 hubs are the same.Only difference would be to upgrade to e30 m3 hubs this is a five lug pattern vs the 4 lug pattern of regular e30's. Advantages include better wheel and tire selection,better braking from the m3 calipers. This conversion could be quite expensive if done strictly with new parts.

So in order to do this, you would need to replace the hubs, rotors and calipers?

So the real question is can you put the late model E36 hubs into the E30s to use the five-lug wheels?

I'm not sure about that one...

I would go with the e28 hubs, rotors and calipers for cost purposes but the e36 hubs appear to be identical to the e28 so I figure the real question is how much money do you want to spend. I am in the process of converting my 88 325is to five lug right now.

I've done a little more research on this and what I've found is that the E30 M3 stuff will botl in no problem, however you need to use the M3 sway bars, hubs and strut housings. Not sure about all the E28/E36 stuff yet.

I found out that e28 and e36 are the same hub and wheel bearing. So for the e30 the e36 front hub,rotor and caliper will work but my need a little fab work for caliper mounting purposes. But for the back the 318ti rear suspention is practicly the same as the e30 so it is best to use the 318ti hub,rotor and caliper for the rear because the e36 rear supension is totally different and will require some work to mount them properly.

5-lug conversion via E30 M3 parts

This is a good article a friend of mine wrote. I am presently in the process of doing an identical conversion to my car ('89 325i). Another option you have is going with E36 parts. However, I do not know of a very informative article for going that route.
