1991 325ix A/C hose identification

I had an A/C line explode today and I need to replace it. I am not sure if this is the suction hose or not. I cannot find a listing like Porsche's PET. Does anyone have the parts diagrams for the A/C system? Or can anyone tell me the part number for the line in this picture?

Any help is appreciated!

That sure looks like the compressor suction line. An alternative to replacing the line would be to have it rebuilt assuming that it is the hose that blew out. I have used Century Auto Air in the past for this service and for around $50 they will replace the hose section and turn it around in a couple of days. You just ship your hose to them (Tucson) and they send you a PayPal invoice before they ship back. I'm also assuming that is compressor oil all over the hose so at a minimum you will need to remove compressor, drain oil, flush system and measure in proper oil quantity before evacuating and recharging. Probably good plan to replace expansion valve and condenser along with filter/drier while you have this all apart.

Can you post the last 7 digits of your vin by chance? Just want to confirm with the part. I believe the part you're needing is the A/C hose that goes to the evaporator to the compressor, #8 below, which is HERE. If you ever need anything please be sure to check out our parts in our catalog here: 1991 BMW 325iX Base Sedan - PelicanParts.com. Let me know if you have any questions.
