Weird rattle under valve cover?
I find this sight very helpful and have 1995 325i it's got 256000 on it and has a Radle under the valve cover.was wondering if you might be able to give me some insite.

Check if the timing chain tensioner is working correctly. If so, the noise could be valve lifters.

Anyway you might be able to post a vide of the rattle? Sometimes, the tensioner grows weak and begins to fail, causing the engine to give off an annoying rattle on deceleration. This rattle grows louder as time passes and may become more noticeable at slow speeds.
