Hello, i have a BMW e46 318i 2000 when i has 1/4 on my fuel gauge the car just stop, i remove the fuel pump and in the side where is only the float reserve side had fuel but the side of the pump with float is empty. my question is why the float side hose does not suck fuel? i check it out and everything looks good.

The pressure from fuel pumps goes to opposite side of tank and runs past a siphon valve that keeps an even level in each side. The pump or siphon is likely faulty. Give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.
