Angry starter problem

Well I get in the car attempt to start the car and it won't start. Check the battery and connections everything looks good. After 1/2 with a buddy mechanic looking at the car we are not sure what is wrong. Eventually got it started with a rolling start. Turn the car off and still won't start. Any Ideas maybe the starter any price quotes?

How old is your battery. Probably it's time to change the battery. But if your starter is working, then it has to be either the alternator or the regulator.

It kind of sounds like the starter, if it starts with a rolling and stays on then its not the battery or the alternator, but if it dies after starting then yes its electrical. good luck
