Fuel tank has already been completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled with a new pump, filter, sock, and upper/lower supply lines. I did not check to make sure the float was free to move while disassembled though. I'm fairly confident that the float has either not been submerged in fuel or submerged in bad, turpentine-esque fuel for at least the past 2-3 years. As I've already got the cluster out of the '05 and just need to pull the right body panel off the '03 to plug into the relay box, I'm going to knock this out first. Draining all the fuel and pulling the pump won't be nearly as quick, and wont help diagnose the oil pressure light. But I will be pulling the tank sometime soon if the cluster lights test good tonight.
