Well.... glad to say, the issue with the oil pressure light has been resolved. Unfortunately I also have to say it was 100% my fault. I forgot to zip tie the oil pressure wire to the side stand wiring. When I installed the starter, the wire must have snagged on the corner of the starter. First time I cranked her over, the wire got yanked by the starter gear and got ripped in half... :/

She's all back together now, and I put another 19 miles on her. I must have done something really, really right with this machine. It feels and runs better than any S I've ever thrown a leg over. Going to need to do some maintenance and adjustments on the '03 now to get her running equally good.
