[Starless]

Cleaning out my garage I found 2 oil filters. I have no idea how old they are. Do they go bad? What i mean is, does the rubber gasket dry out over time? Do the filter elements dry out? One is a Mahle OC 54, which I know I bought from Pelican maybe 4-5 years ago. The other one looks to be the same size, but it's a LHA SPE 15-10. I have no idea where i got it or what it's for. I tried to cross reference it and came up with nothing. It also looks like it fits my log splitter. Any info would be much appreciated.
