Road & Track stated that a 930 would out accelerate any car in the world including the ferrari 512 bbi and the lamborghini countach 5000s..

The undisputed ace of acceleration.

You may gain a little performance but you loose what is most important. The very characteristics and charisma that make it a porsche 930.

Preserve history, excellent stewardship, leaving as the factory intended.

These are the core values that a truly respectful and mindful owner should always remember.
are you for real? this coming from the guy who has no first hand knowledge of such things as his 930 is too busy sitting the garage getting waxed instead of being driven.

your 930 preservationist stance is a personal choice, and one you have every right to make. however, to cast aspersions on those 930 owners who see it differently than you is comical. it's a fact that porsche left a lot of performance on the table with those cars. those cars can, in fact, be made better thru modification.

i can't understand why you insist on hating on anyone who chooses to enjoy their car differently than you do.

go actually hit 95 in 2nd gear, then you can come back and tell us how fast the 930 is with some authority. maybe quit reading about it and go experience it?

it's a car, homeboy. an awesome, iconic car, sure. but just a car...
