Fuel Rail Difficult To Pull Off
Taking steps for an engine drop on my '87NA. (I've done this before - on an 85.5).
Trying to remove fuel rail. All bolts undone, all injector electrical connectors detached.
Wiggling and pulling fuel rail...I just cannot get it to come off. How hard is it safe to pull up on the fuel rail to get injectors to come out?
I've done this before...on an 85.5 - and remember some resistance but no real trouble getting the injectors to pop out.
I do want to remove the air intake manifold...so maybe I'll just leave the fuel rail in place and remove it from the detached manifold.
At any rate...I'm tempted to use some leverage between the fuel rail and cam housing, but don't want to damage anything. Any ideas?
