Thanks Bill, i really wanted to make these out of die cast aluminum, but found they would be heavier than a stock box but more importantly the start up and tooling cost is very high for limited production. Even sand cast is expensive to start up and would be even more heavy than a die cast one. But would'nt that be cool to have a aluminum part that could be polished, glass bead finish, powder coated, anodized in 10 different colors or just painted. The fiberglass version can only be painted.I checked into vacume forming but the material for that process can only stand temperatures of 200 d. or so and i felt the part needed to be able to withstand temps higher than that.Jerry
