The saga continues! Here are photos of the reproduction cone that is 3D printed in rubber.. Not a pliable as the original, but personally I'd be offended if someone went around "squeezing my sensor" :-)

The other image is the metal housing that holds the termister.... who'd thought they could print 3D in METAL on a "one off" piece? This is the same as the original.. a testament to that money I am investing in my son's college engineering degree.... opens up soem possibilities for the other "no longer available" parts!

Next phase is to get the barrel plug (once I can find out somewhere what size plug it is) then connect it to a thermistor and finish the mental sensor insert.
