I agree, completely different beasts, Porsche decided at some point to push units and they did, 996, Cayenne's, Macan's, all very profitable. All at the expense of watering down the brand. It would be like if Jack Daniel's started cutting their product and gave you a plastic bottle in the same shape as the glass one. It would still be brown, the bottle would look the same on the shelf, but would it really be the same?
