One good thing about a repro is less stress of actually driving it. There's a guy here in Tulsa that attends the Saturday breakfast for PCA and he owns an original 73 RS that he occasionally drives and actually races on occasion. The last time he did that his wife was there and about 10 people mentioned to his wife that they can't believe he races the thing, let alone takes it out of the garage! Now his wife keeps asking him about the car. I think he'd consider selling it to the right home.
It would be great to have most of the performance and all the looks of an RS without worrying about destroying a piece of history.
