If looks weren't important, painting your whole car with POR15 would be the final solution....! no doubt.
You could use clear POR15 on your stone chips - but UV sunlight will turn it yellow... but no harm to the paint. Or if your car is silver or black then paint away..... when you get around to re-painting the porka, simply sand the areas ( incl the POR15) and topcoat. Better still.. repaint whole car with POR first, then topcoat.
