There was a 911CS version which had some very minor performance enhancments, such as lighter valves, slightly higher rev limit, and some minor weight savings steps. There was also the semi race 911 SC/RS which came in 2 versions: street and Rally, a very desireable successor to the original '73RS.

The 964 (in Noth Amerca anyway) came in a 964RS version which had weight saving steps similar to the 911CS. There was also a 964 Cup which had same desireable performance enhancements and is well thought of.

The 993(again in North America) did have an S version which consisted mostly of a wide body on the same underpinnings as the regular 993 i.e. same engine and suspension
