I have two 1972 T's, one is # 586, the other is # 2149. The late car had retractable seat belts, the early car had fixed 3 point, but had different body pressings.

The early car has the B post hole higher up.

The early car had a fixed style with little red lever to release and mounted both lower ends to the seat.

The later car had units that had a press center button with retractor unit mounted in the interior rear 1/4 panel. Both cars have the thread bung in the interior rear 1/4 panel. Neither car had holes in the 1/4 trim panel, they appear "non-factory" (dealer perhaps?) cut in the late car.

I do not know if either were O.E., but the interior trim was prepared (by someone?) for the seatbelts in the late car and not the early car.
