Several years ago when I was single, I dated a woman who requested not having to ride in my Porsche.
She is Jewish and was aware of the Hitler connection.
The relationship eventually ended but Porsche avoidance was not the reason. I understood why she felt the way she did and we have remained friends.
BTW, my grandmother's maiden name on my dad's side was......Messerschmitt.
