Sell the 2.7 core motor and install a 3.0 motor, that would probably be the easiest and cost effective situation. A 3.2 or 3.6 would be great, but a bit more complicated and expensive. A '76 with a 3.0 might even be worth more should you need to get out of it down the road. Challenge is to find a good 3.0 motor that doesn't need work at a reasonable price...but with all the 3.2 and 3.6 SC conversions on this board that shouldn't be too hard!
