I have a friend who's also searching for a 3.6T right now, and they are quite uncommon (less than 500 were brought into the US). One problem is that there are so few for sale that the market value isn't truly defined. You can find them anywhere from high $40s to high $60s depending on the seller and the particular car.

From what I remember from my friend, who's done quite a bit of research, there isn't much to worry about with these cars, in terms of pitfalls. The CBV valve will probably need to be replaced, as the factory one goes bad after awhile. Other than that, have a PPI done and look for the typical checklist items. This model has some nice upgrades over the 3.3Ts.
