Have you ever looked at one of those cars or are these asking prices in ads? Even in the rock bottom 911 priced Bay Area, 35k will not buy you a decent 993. Once you start asking questions, or look more closely into those cheap 993s, you find replacement engines, salvage titles, repaints etc. That's at least my experience. Nothing wrong with buying such a car, but I have a problem with spending 30k on something with a rough history.
