From memory the DME relay on the 86 is under the driver seat with the DME (motronics brain about 5"by 5" by 1.5").
the DME relay is a black squarish box about 1.5" square?
Just plug and play.
The fuel relay is under the front hood (bonnet) and is on the left driver side and is usually under a cover. There are 3 or 4 relays which are round and either black or red again about 1.5" in diameter. again just plug and play.
I had the fule pump actually die on mine about 10 miles from home.
The fuel pump is under the car in the center about 2' back from the front, aft of the front wheels.
If the fuel pum p is working you should hear it buzz quietly when you turn the ignition on but before it turns over.
