The muffler is in...

Well it's all back together and running great. Last nights problem with the alt./fan have been remedied. This morning I finished the outlet bends, trial fitted about a dozen times, and installed the tips. The ones I bought with the magnaflo muffler didn't show up with the muffler. So, I went to the local Redneck-Auto and found a pair of very nice looking Stainless Steel tips in the "ricer" section. No kidding. And they are EXACTLY what I was looking for. And the really cool part? ...only $6.99 a piece.

Here is a test fit shot before the outlets were installed:



Then after marking and removing everything again, it went over to the bench for more welding. I am not really happy with the flux-core wire. I can't get it to pool and as a result, can hardly get a decent looking bead going. So, please don't laugh at the welding work.
