Fix a busted tell-tale boost gauge?

I purchased a tattle-tale boost gauge - the one that fits in the clock spot - for my SC turbo about a year or so ago.
This unit has always been VERY stiff and hard to reset the needle. Well Sunday it broke. The needle just flops around now. The mechanism inside snapped when I tried to reset that stiff needle.

So how do I get inside this gauge? Does a schematic exist? How are all the small bushings connected to the needle and reset knob?

I NEED THIS NEEDLE. The damned thing is too expensive to replace so that is not an option.
