My dad used these guys when we rebuilt his 944 turbo motor. The only thing that sucks though, don't send them your stuff assembled. They are going to disassemble it anyway to do the coatings, then send your stuff back in pieces. Anyway, the combustions chambers in the head where ceramic coated, the piston tops were cermic coated, the cranks counter weights (which are knife edged as well) have that teflon whatever film to keep oil off, and the rods also are coated in the teflon film stuff. Plus he just got his headers back from jet hot, got them coated with the series 2000 spray in a gray color. Haven't run the car with the newly coated headers, but all the other internals seem fine, and the car is blindingly fast..

Edit: BTW, diesels don't detonate. They combust by having insanely high static compression so that when there fuel is injected, the heat of the compression combusts the fuel.
