I don't think there's enough material in the dome of a T piston to pocket them deep enough. Even if there was, you'd be running way too low of compression for S cams. The motor would be a dog.

I had 2.2T pistons pocketed as deep as they would go, and they just cleared Solex cams ground on E-cores with E lobe centers.

You could pocket E pistons to clear S cams, but I would only do that to 2.2E pistons, or you'll still be too low on the compression for S cams.

You won't have any issues with 2.2 pistons in your 2.4 motor, but make sure you have clearance between the piston skirt and case when the piston is at the bottom of it's stroke. I've never had a problem here, but others have.
