misty, most parts that are VeeDub-based (like the 924 rotot, <$10 US) are pretty cheap. When I replaced my CV bolts, the Porsche dealer didn't have many in stock and wanted $5 a bolt for 'em - so I looked up the VW part number and rang around and got them for $2 each or something..

The 944-specific parts are generally more... The 944 rotor is $40 US, or about $100 with the extra bakelite(?) supporting shaft as well. Those are Bosch OEM prices, too, not Porsche dealer prices...

Genuine windshields and DME's both list for more than most parts cars sell for....

Bet the 924 is fun to drive in Essex - cheers!
