Fitment of Fuel Injectors

I am currently in the final stages of a rebuild of a 3.0 SC. I removed my fuel injectors during the tear down. Sent them out to be tested and cleaned. They came back OK. I also purchased new inserts and o-rings to replace the old ones. Now that I've reinserted the fuel injectors, there seems to be an excessive amount of lateral play in the injectors as they fit in the new inserts. Also, they come out with relatively little pulling pressure. I did use white lithium grease to slide them into place, although it doesn't feel like that is an issue with respect to their fit. It seems that sixty+ psi of pressure will blow them out of their sleeves. Maybe I'm just paranoid, or maybe the composition of the o-ring will cause it to swell slightly upon contact with fuel.

Can anyone shed any light on this issue?

Thanks, Duane
