Mahalo:

225's on the fronts will look funny, as the tire will "bulge" over the edge of the rim and you will not like the feel of the car. The Tire Rack sent me the wrong size -- 225's for the front of my 911 Turbo with 7X16 Fuchs up front, and I went back to the 205. The handling felt mushy and looked odd.

If you want to fill up the wheel wells, you should have the car lowered and corner balanced. It will handle better and look more aggressive. But I would stick with the recommended tire size from Porsche for the size rims you have (probably 6's up front and 7's or 8's in the back).

You might try a better high performance tire; I had a set of Bridgestone SO-2 on my 993 coupe and loved them. The new Yokohama Sport AVS are supposed to be close to the SO-2 at a better price.

Stay with the factory lug nuts; there have been reports of Fuchs wheels fracturing from the use of aftermarket lug nuts.

Good luck!
