I plead guilty as charged - you've pinned me as neatly as a bug on a board!

Ok - alright already - I'll do some more homework and study the megasquirt potentials for the ignition system and ecu.

If you have already studied this course, though, I would most appreciate any specifics that you can direct me towards: say which megasquirt ignition system iteration you believe would be 'best' as to basic capabilitites and result in a mechanical distributorless system.

And, please, while you're at it, if you will, pick your choice for me - also - as if I had little concern for $$, for that plug and play efi and ignition system.

It's been so long since I rebuilt engines and messed with dual carbs, timing and the like that I'm only an egg when it comes to understanding these EFI and electronic systems - at my age there are but few mips left to play tag with.
