OK, now I get the picture.
Get a Toyota forerunner or Landcruiser if you need the all weather capabilities. If not then go for something with panache. I like 928 GTs but they are very expensive to repair. The BMW 850 cs/csi is a great car (V12, manual) and you could stuff 4 people in it. Newer is better @mid 90s for 20+K.
For 2 people I would definitely look at 65-67 vettes (disc brakes and a HONKING engine) buy excellent driver nonmatching # car for 25-35 K and you never lose a dime on it and its simple, cheap and easy to fix (mechanically). Can you say old Chevy? Subaru STI is cool but a little boyracer visual. MBs are cool, say 560 SEC with dinan perf package. Audi S4, the twin turbo 4 cyl. model, quick and 4 people capable. Ah, then there is Lotus. Turbo esprit @ 97-99 for 20-30K, 2 people but very cool.
OK that's enough from me. Good luck and remember," Be good or don't get caught".
Best regards,
