Every car is different so oil analysis is a smart move to determine the proper interval for your car, climate, driving style.

FYI - Through oil analysis I concluded that 15,000 mile intervals with filter changes at 7500 is the right formula on my Crown Vic that I drive 35-40000 miles per year. A buddy of mine tried Amsoil 15w40 Diesel in his Powerstroke and I think he went 18,000 between changes based on oil anlysis results.
