DW SD might be on the right track. I headed down the fuel route as well. When the Ignition Box goes bad, this can be the symptoms. It is a simple fix, easy to wrench, but not too cheap.

What kind of CD Box do you have? It will be located high on the driver's side wall of the engine compartment. If it is a PermaTune, do a search on this site. The silver ones are quite prone to expiring and they start it by giving random symptoms. Mine burned out the Bosch Blue Coil as well. The Blue ones are supposed to be very good.

A Bosch is usually considered your best one, but these can go bad as well. There is a very good explanation on this board on how to trouble shoot and possibly repair the Bosch, this will be a silver unit I believe). You could aslo have a MSD (red) or some other ignition system. Take a peak and post results. This might not be fuel related but spark related.
