I had a track day 2 days ago and just changed my oil, did the filter too. Although the oil was <2k old, the car does drive better after oil change.
Cost? 11 qts of GTX 20/50 and a Mahle Filter. Around $20 +1hr.
$$ is one of the reasons why i stayed with Dino oil, i could change it as often as i want to. I will take clean dino over dirty synth any day.
