GM = Money = "Welcome to the racetrack, how many cars did you bring!". That's a bit simplistic but ALMS and other race organizations have to fill grids, money and cars talk. I think it's amazing the Cup cars can do as well as they do up against V8 power and huge factory budgets. You should see how many people Cadillac brought, I made the mistake of letting all their team members up on the podium to celebrate with Max etc. I won't do that again, there must have been 25 guys up there.
