If you are real persistent and patient, it can be done....but you'll have just as much time invested in the project by simply doing a partial engine drop and making yourself a lot more work room in the process. Just the partial engine drop part of the job shouldn't take more than an hour total; about 30 minutes for the seal removal/installation part.
