My car cover is basically a glorified bed sheet. It was originally "water-resistant", which means it was sprayed with some kind of water proofing. That has long worn off. Since I store my car in the garage for the winter, I don't need waterproof or water resistant, I just need something to keep the dust off and protect from incidental scratches. It also breathes, so the car doesn't collect moisture on the underside.

Still, it's not at all what you need.
