Sway bar sizes for 1984 930 ...

All,

I've searched and although there is alot of info on sizes for non-turbos not much on turbo sizes.

My car is a street car with very little DE use, but when I do DE it, the body roll is more than I want. I'm not going to upgrade the shocks/torsion bars (don't want the on street ride stiffness) but my mechanic suggested adding stiffer sway bars to help with the roll but not have much of an impact on street ride stiffness.

He's upgraded alot of NA cars this way and everyone agrees that it's a good combo, but he doesn't have much experience on the turbo sizes needed.

Any thoughts? The front is a 22mm already and the rear is an 18mm.

Should I upgrade evenly? (i.e. up same amount both ends?) Go 22mm both ends? The 1986 turbo went to 20mm in the rear with the front the same supposedly to also help with oversteer although I'm not sure how the rear sway will help with that? but that could just be me

Thanks in advance for help/advice ...

thnx

Berardino
