nothing wrong with that at all. I have since converted to that and have been providing the ssi weld up kits for my customers.
Before that I was just building the conversion piece for the standard ssi. T
The kits I speak of are 321 stainless versus the standard 304 ssi set up. I will get some pics posted or you can look at autosportengineering.com for a picture of the set up. these use 2 in v-band clamps and a 347 cast stainless crotch. very nice piece.. here is a pic of mine converted to a T4 flange
Let me know i was not clear enough or if you need any other pictures I have a bunch. and to be clear I did 2 different setups on for the standar 304 ssi and the ssi 321 set up. I hope that makes sense
