I have a '77 turbo, it does take a certian amount of anticipation for initial off-boost acceleration compared to a N/A car. Keep in mind this car is capable of exceeding 50mph in first gear. Try that in an SC. However, my car does have enough power to fully engage the clutch at 1200rpm and drive away from a modest incline.
