I've use them on both my 930 as well as my 996 and I find them to be a happy-medium brake that produces moderate dust. They do not squeak or squeal ever (on either car) and I don't change them when I go to the track. Moderate fade during track use on the 930, more noticeable on the 996... but that's probably because of the extra 600 lbs. (braided lines on both cars.)

Both of my cars get ample track and street miles, so I don't know what their life expectancy would be in a normal day-to-day driving environment. My guess is they would last quite a while. But I'm always changing my pads long before they are worn out cuz that's just the kind of guy I am. New Pads = Warm-N-fuzzy
