I will look again tonight......
but I am VERY doubtful that I can get a blade anywhere near the inside lower bolt from the turbo to the muffler.
I understand about the v-band, but loosening that seems futile if I can't rotate the housing at all to get any clearance because the oil feed line to the turbo is still on. I think loosening that oil line from just inside the engine compartment (fitting is right near the IC pipe). Removing the oil drain line from the turbo, and removing the 4 nuts/bolts that hold the inlet side of the turbo to the car, loosening the flex pipe, should free the turbo, so when I remove the muffler strap, I don't see why the muffler and turbo will not drop as a single unit?
Am I missing something here?
